Rooted in awareness

Strengthened through connection

OUR FOUNDATION

MeDiscovered was created from the belief that self-discovery is essential to healing. When individuals begin to understand their patterns, needs, and boundaries, they gain the clarity needed to live with intention.

WeDiscovered extends this work into relationships—because healing does not happen in isolation. It happens through connection, repair, and understanding.

THE FOUNDER

Dr. Jamie is a Kentucky native whose life’s work is rooted in helping individuals and families navigate life’s most tender, complex, and transformative seasons. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky before relocating to South Florida, where she completed both her Master of Science and Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.

Before launching her private practice in 2013, Dr. Jamie developed a rich and diverse clinical foundation, serving in a wide range of settings including nonprofits, foster care agencies, preschools, university clinics, eating disorder treatment centers, and senior living communities. Her early work allowed her to support individuals and families across the lifespan—from young children to aging adults, including those navigating the realities of Alzheimer’s and dementia. These experiences shaped her holistic, compassionate, and systems-oriented approach to care.

As her practice evolved, Dr. Jamie felt a clear calling to focus more deeply on the unique emotional and relational challenges faced by women and couples. Today, she specializes in supporting women through infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum anxiety and depression, while also guiding couples as they prepare for marriage or work to rebuild trust after betrayal and infidelity. Her work extends to families navigating major life transitions, parenting challenges, divorce or separation, and the often-overlooked season of launching children into adulthood.

Dr. Jamie’s approach blends clinical expertise with deep empathy, recognizing that healing is not simply about knowledge, but about meaningful connection, emotional processing, and intentional growth. She believes that every individual has the capacity to heal, reconnect, and flourish when given the right tools and support.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jamie is a dedicated professor and researcher, committed to advancing the field of marriage and family therapy and equipping the next generation of clinicians. Her private practice currently serves clients across Colorado, Florida, and Kentucky.

Above all, Dr. Jamie is a proud mom whose personal and professional experiences continue to shape her passion for helping others rediscover themselves and build lives rooted in purpose, connection, and resilience.

OUR therapists

noska.png

We all carry stories that shape how we think about ourselves, how we live in relationship with others, and how we exist in the world. Understanding our stories and our wounds is an essential step toward healing. I am dedicated to walking alongside those who want to understand how the past impacts present struggles, patterns, and relationships, and who desire to live in health and wholeness.

Having experienced the transformative power of good therapeutic care within my own story, I was inspired to pursue my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University.

My background includes working with survivors of domestic abuse, and I approach every client with compassion. As a therapist, I utilize a holistic, trauma-informed framework tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals—addressing the mental, emotional, physiological, and spiritual aspects of well-being.

Areas of clinical focus include:

  • Life transitions

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Grief and trauma

Ultimately, my hope is to help clients come home to themselves and step into the flourishing life that is possible for them.
